We now move the focus in our messages from the family to other subjects. The next area of attention is WORSHIP. This is a great subject to explore at Christmas time. Surely we all know our response to the birth of Jesus should be our worship of Him. I am currently in the process of reading every passage in the Bible that speaks on Worship. It's a computer printout of a hundred pages. But I want to know your thoughts on Worship. Why do we worship? What is your favorite worship experience? Do we worship in preaching, communion, or even listening to K-LOVE on the radio? What worship songs do you love? And how does worship change us?
We know that the angels were worshiping God long before the world was created. And we will still be worshiping God long after this world is gone. While we're still on earth, we want to get it right regarding Worship.
So think about it, pray about it, see what scripture says. We will love to read your comments.

  1. I just want to say thanks. Family Life has improved my life. Actually, it's God's words spoken through Dale that has improved my life. I pulled up the courage and called my parents, out of love, just to see how they were doing. (yeah, you know me)
There are so many churches that just preach the easy stuff, but not here. Dale isn't afraid of talking about drugs, alcohol, sex, pornography, and hugging.

The service on touching was really important. So many men are so cold, and loving touch is one of the most important things a woman needs- (and kids too.)
Oh, and don't forget about me. The woman who touched Jesus and was healed? I am seeking that touch. I need that. I've been reaching my hand out but I just can't quite get there. If I could only touch a thread from His robe I could be healed....

Keep preaching the hard stuff Dale. Keep stepping on my toes. Keep preaching what we need to hear instead of what we want to hear.

And yes, small groups work. We've made some really good friends.
    It's really improved our lives.....

  2. I'm really hoping that you will touch on the meaning of "Worshipping in Spirit and in Truth" because I really can't explain that scripture to my children.

  3. I can't say there is one specific thing that I experience that is how I worship. Listening to the word of God sitting in church or even on the radio is always moving for me. It helps me to learn more, and recap on the things in my life that may need change. I feel that everything that I do that is driven by Jesus is a form of worship for me. Going to Family Life, and getting to know Dale better has changed my life in so many ways! He is who led me to worship God the way we are all meant to do! Thank you Dale! Keep it up!

  4. I am fairly new to Family Life. In just the few months that I have attended services, I have learned so much. In the beginning I felt like everytime I went to church Dale was worshiping on something that hit my heart. Dale has gotten my attention for life. He has brought me closer to Jesus in ways I never knew. I totally understand why he ministers small groups because they are awesome--even if you are the quiet one. Thanks Dale--U R AWESOME!!!!!

  5. Why do I worship? Why do I pray? Why do I lift up my voice? When I see the Savior who died in my place, well cannot help but rejoice! That is an old song from Dennis Jernigan that has spoken volumes to me. No matter how I'm feeling, no matter if I really didn't feel like coming to church, when that music starts, something happens, you no longer focus on any bad feelings, you focus on the praise, and the Savior and you just are so humbled, that your worries really do disappear. Quite honestly our church has the most awesome Worship I have ever experienced, every week my heart is touched. All of our pastors do such a fine job, and the love if felt from the moment you walk in the door, until you leave...there is no other place I would rather be, God bless!
